Ingredients
2 plant based Chunk steaks, defrosted
6 Tbsp of butter, softened (4 for cooking the steak and 2 for making the crust)
¼ cup panko bread crumbs
½ cup Panacheeza
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
-
Turn the oven to broil.
-
Put the pan on medium high with 2 tbsp of butter.
-
Once the pan has heated up, place chunk steaks in and season with salt and pepper.
-
Cook for about 4 mins (or until desired tenderness)
-
Turn over and put 2 more tablespoons of butter on the steaks and season with salt and pepper again. Cook for 4 minutes as well.
-
While these are cooking, blend your remaining 2 tbsp of butter, bread crumbs and Panacheeza in a bowl.
-
Turn off the heat to your pan and place an even amount of the Panacheeza crust on both your steaks.
-
Put the pan into the oven under the broiler and keep a very close eye so it does not burn! Once the crust is a crispy golden brown, remove from the oven and serve!
