Homemade Mac n Cheese Bake

Ingredients
1 box/16 oz dry elbow pasta
3 cup pasta water (might not need all, but save all just in case)
16 oz shredded dairy-free cheddar cheese
1 cup Panacheeza
1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup + ¼ dairy-free butter (1.5 sticks) can substitute with plant based
Directions
- Bring water to a boil, add elbow and cook until al dente.
- Strain pasta and be sure to save the pasta water.
- Put pasta back into the pot, add 1 stick of butter and mix over medium heat until melted.
- Add ½ cup Panacheeza and shredded cheese and stir until melted.
- Add enough pasta water to the pot until desired sauce consistency is achieved.
- Mix ¼ cup (half a stick) of melted butter, breadcrumbs and ½ cup Panacheeza together.
- Pour macaroni into baking dish and spread breadcrumb mixture over top.
- Set oven to broil and bake until browned, or until crispy and brown, 5-10 minutes.
- Serve and sprinkle Panacheeza overtop macaroni and cheese.
